The Ether Thought Landlord Tenant Scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship aimed at supporting students whose primary guardian is currently renting from ETPM. To qualify for this scholarship, the student must have been renting for three consecutive years prior to the student's application for the ETPM scholarship. Scholarship recipients are required to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher. During years where there’s no ETPM tenants attending colleges then the scholarship becomes eligible to any student that was raised by a guardian-grand parent. Such custody must be confirmed. (All other scholarship requirements shall remain true) Last, the candidate must have declared a major in any of the following engineering fields:
computer science, computer engineering, mechanical/hardware engineering, electrical/electronics engineering, aerospace engineering, nuclear engineering, cybersecurity engineering, network engineering, telecommunication engineering
The scholarship funds will be disbursed upon successful enrollment and registration for the fall semester of 2026 and should be allocated for books or other essential utilities. Additionally, the student must submit a bio and a written essay on Artificial Intelligence benefits towards urban area needs. In this essay, the candidate should discuss ideals he or she would create as an engineer to benefit using AI. The AI could be in agent, robotic, or automation form to stimulate growth toward urban needs while decreasing learning curves and extending the information-technology pipeline in under privilege areas. The AI creation expressed should be towards any area of need or chronic symptoms affecting these communities today. Also, the essay can cover AI benefits around aging elderly communities needs, too. Where available, please show small doses of technical engineering amplitude in writings. For example, discuss features of ChatGPT, OpenAI, Copilot, etc. in examples.
The ETPM scholarship panel is aware of how vast such writings can be about the world’s need in general with the usage of AI advancements. However, we would like to keep the AI benefits essay dedicated to more of an urban and under privilege communities’ focus. Again, we look forward to your bio and the essay’s display of a world of AI benefits, advantages, and directions for urban environments via your essay submittal.
